The majority of the timber we sell is bought in the log form and cut and dried at our premises in Knysna ( Southern Coast of South Africa ). Most of our timber, you'll be glad to know, originates from FSC ( Forest Stuardship Councell ) approved forests, telling you, the customer, that it is derived from sustainable sources, an issue of growing significance today.
Our timber is first air dried to ± 20% MC then carfully finished in our own kilns to 9 - 12% depending on the application. Cutting and drying our own timber gives us the flexability to adjust to specific client specifications.
