Distribution: Mozambique, Zambia, South Africa, Angola, Tanzania, Zimbabwe

Timber Qualities: Golden Brown to chocolate brown with irregular darker reddish streaks. The grain is not often straight, with the grain producing very attractive flame patterns. Sap wood is white. One of our favourites. Possibly one of the most stable timbers we work with. We have supplied thousands of square meters of kiaat flooring to many satisfied customers. It's the kind of wood you fall in love with. Furniture made from kiaat immediately looks classy.
