Distribution: Eastern USA and South Eastern Canada

Timber Qualities: Varies in colour from pale yellow-brown to biscuit with a pinkish tint. Straight grain with the characteristic silver grain on quarter sawn boards. The wood is hard and finishes to a fine smooth surface.

Uses: Furniture, cabinet making, joinery, flooring.
